Flash Mob & Alchemy

​I didn’t know that being in a Bollywood Flash Mob was on my bucket list, but so it is….done. A story for another night.
 
On a different topic, the last two days I’ve been listening to a Paolo Coehlo interview that Krista Tippet did. Coehlo is the Brazilian author who wrote the Pilgrimage and the Alchemist. There is so much wisdom in his words that I wept as I listened and re-listened.
 
He shared about his wife. They’ve been married over thirty years. When people ask him what it’s like being married to the same woman for many years, he replies, he hasn’t been. That she’s not the same woman just as he’s not the same man.
 
This started me thinking about myself and relationships – what would it be like if I gave more freedom to myself and others to be different, to grow, and expand. To rely on that and know it’s the one thing that is predictable. Change.
 
What I’m saying here isn’t new or earth shattering. But it’s interesting. And I’m curious. And I’m going to rest on this thought and wake in it and see what tomorrow will bring.
