Grief is universally experienced but often ignored or misunderstood. Giving ourselves time to be with the natural feelings of loss, sadness, and pain, grants our hearts the space and willingness to be more present for the sweetness of life too.
Guided meditation, writing prompts, and tea ceremony will hold the space to gently engage and relate with yourself; equipping you with new language and comfort.
Feel free to come with a specific event in mind that you are living with or you may simply want to deepen your capacity for understanding.
Please wear comfortable clothing and bring your own props so you can relax on the floor. We will be sitting during part of our time together but you may also wish to lie down.

Marialicia (Mari) González is a midwife, writer, palliative care nurse, and leatherworker. She’s had the privilege of ushering thousands through the passage of life and death for over 20 years. For ten years she ran meditation centers and through her own journey of grief & healing, became fascinated with the cultural stagnation that exists around this topic.
Mari is also co-curator of Grief Rites ~ a monthly literary series dedicated to showcasing readings and events that give voice to the natural process and evolution of grief.
Grief & the Art of Living is a fruit of her labors and she is thrilled to facilitate a heart opening experience for participants on this journey.
Limited to 16 participants ~ Please note, your spot is only guaranteed when you register below.
